Verify Your Operating System (OS) Type Before Download

You can see if your OS is a 32 or 64-bit system by going to Control Panel and then System. If you are using XP and the words 64-bit are not listed on the page, then you have a 32-bit XP OS. Once you have determined your OS, download and install the proper driver listed below.

Drivers in ZIP Format
Some drivers are in ZIP format (designated by the .zip file extension). After downloading the .zip file, right click on the file and select extract. After you extract the files, run the driver's setup.exe file and install it on your computer. If you need an unzip tool, go to Rarlab to download the WinRAR software.

Scanning Software

In order to scan, you need scanning software. You can download AmbirScan 2.0 listed below. If you are trying to scan with the TravelScan Pro 600, please download AmbirScan 1.1. AV series drivers come with a scanning utility.
 





"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)" Error Message

If you receive the above message while trying to run AmbirScan 1.1, you will need to download and install Microsoft .net 2.0 framework.

The TravelScan Pro 2300u (model numbers: 2300U6/2300U) will not work with a 64-bit OS. Please see the TravelScan Pro support page.

  To most accurately identify the problem with your product, our Support Team will ask several basic questions regarding its condition and performance. Also, please be at the computer where you experienced the issue. If the problem cannot be solved by troubleshooting alone, your technician will guide you through the product return process for the repair, replacement, or return of the malfunctioning unit.
Thin Clients with XPe:

 • Thin clients with the XPe operating system (OS) installed may lack the necessary scanning components to allow installation of scanner driver and not initially support scanning

 • If possible, first try to get and install the necessary OS scanning components from the hardware manufacturer then we can assist in the scanner installation
