Additional Notes on Compatibility:

Though not a requirement, ScanLink will work in Terminal Services or Citrix network environment.  We have currently tested ScanLink to work with Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 and later and Xen App Server. 


We strongly recommended installing the latest Microsoft and Citrix service packs on your server and client computers.


Compatible Software and Scanners

Software – Any TWAIN compliant imaging software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat or IrfanView)


Scanners – ScanLink supports all major scanner brands. Contact an Ambir representative if you have a question about the compatibility of a specific scanner.

I am getting a “capture failed” error from ScanLink.
Minimize the Remote desktop session and see if there is a misfeed on the local machine.

 

 








ScanLink Software Benefits Include:

Added Security – ScanLink is configured by default to store images on a server rather than a local machine, offering you another layer of security.
Centralized Management – Manage all users and settings from your server. Tasks like adding a network scanner to a user profile, removing a user from the server, managing scanner parameters, locking down scanner features and more can all be managed from one server location. This gives the server administrator tighter control over the scanners on the network.
Scanner Virtualization – ScanLink's virtual scanner transfers all the functionality of your scanner directly into your network scanning application session. Settings like color, document size, resolution, scan mode and more can be controlled remotely.
